Visual Development Artist — Unannounced Feature Film at Xalter Studio

Here are selected work samples from my time at Xalter Studios, where I contributed to an unannounced animated feature. I was responsible for designing all props and also created several environment concepts. Although the project was ultimately canceled, I completed 28 prop designs and one environment sketch during my time on the production.

Visual Style — Handcrafted 2D aesthetic, papercut-inspired shapes, rich paper textures, and soft watercolor washes to evoke a warm, tactile feel.

Background Artist — Netflix Sponsored Award Winning Film Back to Normal

Here are some selected background paintings I created for Back To Normal, an animated short film and LatinX in Animation Grant recipient. The film is a heartfelt story about personal healing and resilience during the pandemic, directed by Cecilia De Jesus and produced by Jaena Sta. Ana and Donnie McCormick in collaboration with Netflix.

Visual Style — Inspired by UPA aesthetics, shape-driven, stylized 2D design enhanced with bold brush textures.
